👉I Thought AI Remembered Our Last Conversation. It Doesn’t. →
I opened a new chat last week and said, “like we talked about before.” It had no idea what I meant. None.
I actually felt a little hurt for a second, which sounds ridiculous, until I understood why that happened. A new chat is genuinely new. Not forgetful, not distracted, new. Unless a tool specifically has memory turned on, nothing carries over from one conversation to the next.

Once I stopped expecting continuity that was never actually there, everything got so much less frustrating. Now I just say what matters upfront:
“Here’s important context you should know before we start: [the background]. Please keep this in mind for the rest of our conversation.”

⬇️ ALL 3 PROMPTS FROM SUNDAY’S VIDEO ⬇️
📌 Fact 1 — Give It Context
“Here’s important context you should know before we start: [the background]. Please keep this in mind for the rest of our conversation.”
📌 Fact 2 — Check Its Confidence
“Before I trust this, tell me how confident you are, and what parts of this you might be guessing at rather than certain about.”
📌 Fact 3 — Check for Live Access
“Do you have real time internet access right now, or are you working from your training data?”
