🎬 This Week’s Three Videos
Sunday: How I Use AI to Care for Someone Without Losing Myself
Tuesday: The Caregiver Breathing Room Method
Thursday: Your Personal Caregiver AI System — coming tomorrow
Saturday morning. Week 16 complete. This one was heavy to build — and important.
Caregiving is one of those topics that lives in a specific kind of silence. People are doing it all around us and not talking about it because talking about it feels like complaining, and complaining feels like being ungrateful, and being ungrateful feels impossible when you love the person you’re caring for. The replies this week told me that a lot of people needed someone to name it.

✅ The story that stays with meJames — 18 months away from the woodworking shop that used to restore him. He didn’t make anything when he went back in on Tuesday evening. He just stood in there for 20 minutes. He said it was the best 20 minutes he’d had in months. That is the whole point of the Identity Anchor System. Not to become who you were before caregiving. To remember that you are still a person with a self that exists outside the role.
✅ What surprised me about this weekHow many people responded to Monday’s reply invitation who are not primary caregivers but who are watching someone they love carry that weight. Adult children watching a parent care for a spouse. Friends watching someone disappear into a caregiving role. The content reached further than just the caregiver themselves. That tells me this topic has more to give in future phases.
💭 What I’d build next timeA dedicated piece on the transition out of caregiving — what happens when the caregiving season ends, either because the person recovers, moves to a care facility, or passes away. The identity disorientation that follows is something nobody prepares caregivers for either. That content deserves its own week.

🔭 Week 17 · August 31–September 6 · Second-Chapter Entrepreneurship
After two weeks of heavy, inward-looking content (paperwork, caregiving), next week turns outward. Toward possibility. Toward something being built rather than something being managed.
Week 17 is Second-Chapter Entrepreneurship.
This is the topic for anyone who has a business idea that has been living in their head for years — something they’ve been meaning to start when the timing was right, when things settled down, when they had more information. Spoiler: the timing is never going to be perfect. But the tools to figure out whether the idea is worth pursuing have never been more accessible.
AI is extraordinarily good at the early stages of entrepreneurship: validating an idea, identifying a target customer, naming the business, mapping the first steps, and building the simple systems that make a new venture feel manageable rather than overwhelming. This week shows you exactly how.
Sunday: How I Would Start a Business Differently Now That I Have AI
Tuesday: The Second-Chapter Business Method — 3 AI Steps From Idea to First Customer
Thursday: Your Personal Business Launch AI System — 5 Components for Starting Something Real
If you have an idea that’s been waiting — next week is for that idea.
Thank you for Week 16. For the updates that finally went out, the hard conversations that finally got prepared for, and the 20 minutes in the garage that didn’t make anything but meant everything. 🐾
