After two weeks of content that asked a lot of you emotionally, this week turns toward something forward-looking. Something being built.
Somewhere in the back of your mind right now, there might be a business idea that has been waiting. Not a vague someday fantasy — a real idea. Something you’ve thought about more than once, something you actually know how to do, something the world probably needs. The reason it’s still just an idea is almost never that the idea isn’t good enough. It’s that the gap between having the idea and knowing how to start has always felt too wide to cross alone.
The reframe I want to offer is this: you already have the hardest ingredient. Experience. Deep, specific, hard-won knowledge of something. AI is not going to replace that. It’s going to help you figure out what to do with it.

📌 Prompt 1 — Idea Validation
“I have a business idea I want to run through an honest validation process before I invest any significant time or money. Here is the idea: [describe your business idea — what you’d offer, who you think would buy it, what problem it solves, how you’d deliver it]. Please: (1) Identify the three strongest things about this idea, (2) Identify the three biggest risks or weaknesses — be honest, not encouraging, (3) Tell me who the most likely customer is and whether there are enough of them to build a real business, (4) Tell me what I would need to validate this idea in the real world before committing further, (5) Ask me any questions you need to give me a more accurate assessment.”
Run this before you spend a dollar or tell too many people
📌 Prompt 2 — Customer Clarity
“I need to get specific about who my ideal first customer is for [describe your business idea]. Please help me build a clear picture by asking one question at a time about: what specific problem they have that my business would solve, what they’re currently doing to solve it and why that isn’t working well enough, what would make them choose my solution over what they’re doing now, where they spend time online and offline, what they would need to see to trust me enough to buy, and what they can realistically afford. When done, write a one-paragraph description of my ideal first customer.”
The most important thing to get right before any marketing or messaging
📌 Prompt 3 — Name and Message
“I need help naming my business and writing a core message for it. Here is my business: [describe what you offer, who it’s for, what makes it different]. Here is my ideal customer: [paste from Prompt 2]. Please: (1) Generate ten possible business names with strengths and one weakness for each, (2) Write three different one-sentence descriptions of my business from the customer’s point of view, (3) Write a short paragraph I could use as my elevator pitch, (4) Tell me what to check to make sure the name I like isn’t already taken.”
The name and message that makes the right person immediately understand why this is for them
📌 Prompt 4 — The First 90 Days
“I need to build a simple, realistic 90-day plan for getting my business from idea to first paying customer. Here is my business: [describe what you offer and who it’s for]. Here is my realistic situation: [describe how much time you have per week, what resources you have, what you can spend if anything, and what skills you bring]. Please build a 90-day roadmap with three 30-day phases, the single most important thing to accomplish in each phase, the three to five specific actions to take in the first two weeks, what success looks like at the end of 90 days, and the most common mistake in a business like mine in the first 90 days.”
