The One Sentence That Instantly Improves ChatGPT Output
Copy it. Paste it. Use it on any prompt.
Here’s the fastest way to get better results from ChatGPT:
Don’t ask it to “write something” without defining what success looks like.
When you don’t define success, ChatGPT has to guess:
who it’s for
what you want it to do
what tone to use
how long it should be
what to avoid
So instead, I use one sentence that forces clarity.
Copy/paste this one sentence
Write this for [audience] in a [tone] tone, in [format], in about [length], and avoid [thing].
That’s it. One sentence. Massive difference.
Example 1 (caption)
Write this for women over 50 in a confident, friendly tone, in an Instagram caption, in about 120 words, and avoid sounding salesy.
Example 2 (email)
Write this for a busy manager in a direct, professional tone, in a short email, in under 150 words, and avoid fluff.
Quick tip
If you’re not sure what to put in the brackets, start with just three:
audience, format, length.
Even that will clean up your output fast.
