👉AI Gave Me the Wrong Answer. Here’s Exactly What I Do Now. →
Last week AI gave me a completely wrong answer. Not slightly off. Wrong. And for a second I had the same two thoughts most of us have in that moment: just use it anyway, or close the window and start over.
I did neither.
I named the exact thing that was wrong. I gave AI the one piece of context it was missing. And I asked for a targeted fix instead of a full redo. Total time from catching the mistake to having an answer I trusted, under two minutes.

Here are the three actual lines I used, in order:
“The date you listed is wrong, it should be the fourteenth, not the twelfth. Please correct just that part.”
“Here’s something you didn’t have before, my appointment actually got moved to Thursday. Can you factor that in?”
“Keep everything else exactly the same, just fix that one part and give me the updated version.”
