Saturday morning. The final Saturday of Phase II. Ten weeks complete.
I want to tell you Eleanor’s story one more time, because it’s the one that is going to stay with me.
Ten years of meaning to write letters to her three daughters. Not about anything practical — about what they mean to her, what she hopes for them, what she wants them to know. She could never figure out how to start. The legacy letter prompt asked her one question: if I could communicate one thing to each of them, what would it be? She answered it three times, once for each daughter. From that one question came three completely different letters. All three written in one evening.
She hasn’t given them yet. She’s deciding when.
But they exist now. That matters to her in a way she can’t fully explain.
That’s the whole point. Not the AI. The letters. The letters that exist now because one question helped something finally come out that had been waiting ten years to get out.

✅ What Phase II felt like to build
Ten weeks of real life. The paperwork that piles up. The caregiver who has forgotten who they are. The business idea that has been waiting. The conversation that keeps not happening. Every topic started with something that is genuinely hard — and tried to find the specific way AI could make it just a little less hard. Not solved. Helped. Sometimes that’s everything.
✅ What surprised me across the ten weeks
How many people replied to say “I know what mine is” without saying what it was. The conversations people have been carrying the longest are often the ones they speak about the least. That space of knowing without saying — I wanted to honor that this week without pushing through it. The replies told me I got that right.
💭 What I’d build differently
A dedicated bridge week between Phase II and Phase III — a week that explicitly reviews all ten topics, links to all the downloadable resources, and gives people a chance to catch up on anything they missed. Phase II covered a lot of ground. A consolidation week would let that ground settle before Phase III begins.

🐾 Phase III Is Coming
Phase III is going to be different from Phase II — less topical, more skills-focused. Phase II was about the specific situations that show up in second-chapter life. Phase III is about getting better at using AI across all of them — building personal systems, developing AI habits that actually stick, and going deeper into the tools that make the biggest difference.
