What have you always wanted to learn? (I'm asking this week) 🐾
Three readers shared their long-held curiosities. Now I want yours — it might become next week's Wednesday post.
This week we’ve been talking about learning — using AI to finally understand things we’ve always been curious about but never quite got around to.
I’ve been hearing from some of you since Monday’s post — and the things you want to learn are so varied and wonderful that I wanted to share a few of them today.

From Tom, 74, Minnesota
“I’ve always wanted to understand how the economy actually works — not just headlines but why things happen the way they do. I’ve felt too far behind to ask a real person. I tried your financial prompt this week and had a thirty-minute conversation that explained more than thirty years of reading the newspaper headlines.”
Tom — thirty minutes of real conversation versus thirty years of headlines. That’s the power of being able to ask follow-up questions without feeling like you’re taking up someone’s time.

From Susan, 68, Georgia
“I’ve always wanted to understand art history — specifically impressionism. I took one class in college and retained nothing. I used the history prompt and asked AI to explain impressionism like it was telling me a story. By the end I understood why Monet painted the way he did and it made me emotional. I didn’t expect that.”
Susan — the emotional part is real. Understanding why an artist made their choices changes how you see their work entirely. That’s not a small thing.

From Ruth, 71, Washington
“I’ve always wanted to learn basic bread baking. I assumed it was too technical. I used the creative skill prompt and AI walked me through exactly what I needed — which was almost nothing — and gave me one simple loaf to try this weekend. I haven’t made it yet but I have the ingredients. That’s the farthest I’ve ever gotten.”
Ruth — having the ingredients is half the battle. The other half is Saturday morning. I’m rooting for your loaf.

Now I want yours
This is your invitation. Hit reply and tell me: what’s one thing you’ve always wanted to understand, learn, or try — and what’s been stopping you? It can be practical or completely impractical. Academic or creative or just fascinating. Large or tiny. The more specific the better.
The most interesting responses will be featured in next Wednesday’s post — where I’ll show you exactly which prompt to use and how a learning conversation on that topic might go.
