Here it is — the complete system for making sure no document defeats you again.
All five components. All prompts. Save this and return to it every time a confusing document arrives.
Before we begin: AI is a translation and organization tool in this system — not legal or financial advice. These tools help you understand what you’re looking at so you can make informed decisions and consult the right professionals. That translation is enormously valuable. The professional relationship is yours to manage.

The component most people don’t know exists
Raymond’s story from Wednesday is the right frame for Component 3. Most people don’t know that insurance denials can be appealed. Most people don’t know that “not medically necessary” — the most common denial reason — is also the most commonly overturned on appeal when the medical necessity is properly documented.
The Appeal Builder doesn’t guarantee a reversal. What it does is make sure your appeal addresses the specific denial reason directly, presents your doctor’s documentation clearly, and arrives organized rather than as a collection of documents the reviewer has to sort through themselves. That organization matters. An appeal that looks like it was assembled carefully is taken more seriously than one that wasn’t.
If you have a denial sitting in your pile right now — especially one you accepted because it felt final — this week’s Thursday video walks through the Appeal Builder prompt in detail. It may be worth revisiting before the appeal window closes.
📌 Start Here — Document Triage (for the pile you have right now)
“I want to triage my existing pile of documents and stop adding to it. I have the following: [list or describe what’s in your pile — approximate types, not exact details]. Please: (1) Help me sort these into three categories: requires immediate action, requires a decision, informational only, (2) For anything in the ‘immediate action’ category, tell me what the action is and whether there’s a deadline I might have missed, (3) Suggest a simple starting order — what to address first based on urgency and stakes. I want to work through the pile systematically rather than randomly.”

📋 One-Page Triage Decision Chart
When a new document arrives, run it through this chart — top to bottom, stop at the first match. The whole process takes under a minute.
🐾 Document Triage Decision Chart — Use Every Time a New Document Arrives
STEP 1 — What type of document is this?
🏥 Medical (bill, EOB, Medicare notice) → go to Component 2: Medical Document Decoder
📩 Insurance denial → go to Component 3: Appeal Builder
📑 Legal document (contract, trust, power of attorney, lease) → use Legal Document Translator prompt
📁 Estate document (will, advance directive, beneficiary form) → go to Component 4: Estate Organizer
🏛️ Government notice (Medicare, Social Security, IRS) → use Plain Language Method (orient, translate, identify)
📬 Other / unclear → use Orient prompt first, then re-triage
STEP 2 — What does this document require?
⚡ IMMEDIATE ACTION — payment due, signature required, response deadline, appeal window closing
→ Place in ACTION folder. Note deadline. Do not set aside.
🤔 DECISION NEEDED — consult a professional, make a choice, gather more information
→ Place in DECISIONS folder. Note what information you need before deciding.
📖 INFORMATIONAL ONLY — no action or decision required, for your records
→ File directly in the appropriate folder below. Done.
STEP 3 — If IMMEDIATE ACTION: what is the deadline?
📅 Write the deadline on a sticky note on the document or flag it digitally.
⏰ If the deadline has passed: use the relevant prompt to understand your options before contacting the sender.
✅ When action is complete: move document to appropriate folder below and mark resolved.
